I have a new Tarantula that I would like confirmation on pertaining to type and gender. I think it's a female Desert Brown. Can somebody confirm that for me, or am I wrong. Thank you.
A. chalcodes, likely a female given the size. That coloration is one of the more uncommon variants, be happy you have her :)
 
If it is an A. chalcodes or an A. iodus, then my money is on female because I believe the males have skinny long black legs.
