Could this possibly be a T verdezi? But that doesn't explain the very slow growth rate unless I'm missing something. I have a T Albo from that group but that's it. I narrowed it down to aphonopelma or brachy.
It's funny because I bought the sling at .5" and I thought i purchased a B boehmei. It was a reputable vendor I've since bought from and I'm not complaining. Very slow grower but great T with a great appetite. Rewarding experience overall. I'll continue providing plenty of substrate for this T into adulthood because it's happiest when excavating.
What a cute little t ! I must say I thought floofer was an albiceps before I clicked they grow pretty slow to. I could be totally wrong though, a top veiw pic may help.
Or you could try the vendor, they should have a stock list from when you purchased the t and you can then narrow it down cross off arboreal,
t's you know floofer cant be like ow ect then Google the sp left on that list and see what your floofer is most likely to be. It may take a while but its what I would do and I am voting Brachypelma albiceps

It's always my advice when people say they got a mix up from a reputable breeder, more likely they will have records or they will if they are any sort of good business no point in saying if floofer was from say ebay or something though
Yer I think albiceps it's that golden carapace and the stance, my albiceps looked just like that dug like crazy too n would sit just like that at the entrance all the time.

Well Charlie, i blasted the space heater a bit today and this little dude or dudette came out belly up lol. Very rare for them to do this and I'm leaning female by the looks of it. Happy day
