This thing only tears up the webbing it puts along the enclosure wall when it's had a big meal and is heading towards premolt, so this is the only time I can get a good look at it. Still not expecting a molt for a bit though
Is this pretty confident or best guess? I'm still trying to get my techniques down. My C. veriscolor has papal bulbs visible but I see no sign of tibial hooks.
@Jayvicularia I don't usually have 100% confidence in sexing without a molt. But if yours has papal bulbs, it's without a doubt a mature male. Some species have very small tibial hooks or lack them entirely, so the pedipalps are the best indicator for a mature male
I am trying to get my points up so I can offer him ad a trade. I have insufficient privelwdges right now and I looked for an adult female to no avail. Besides I could use more experience before breeding attempt.
