Olive, molted yesterday and is dazzling in green and gold, just in time for the holidays. I can't recommend this species enough - she's absolutely awesome!
Not anymore. She was pretty skittish up until about 3.5" DLS, then she settled down considerably. Never kicks hairs, doesn't bolt around, doesn't hide in a burrow - she just sits out looking awesome, waiting for something to kill. Her feeding response is as strong as any other species I've had. She's about full grown now, which is also great in my book.
She looks so good
Always a treat to get an Olive pic but double treat, a fresh Olive π« most beautiful thrixopelma pruriens on ab.... apart from my Mary-Jane of course .
I will find out one day what the light is that makes them glow radioactive green seen it on a utube vid never worked out what it was though
Just incase anyone can work it out, she glows at about 12 mins.
He only shines it on her for seconds but girl glows green, its what made me decide I needed this sp those 2 seconds n I was in love
Maybe you can work it out oh king of the tiny moult ....n teeny t gender
I tried with black light did nothing but my girl is still only about 2.5/3 inches so she may just not show the colours yet. Plus her viv is milky not clear . Maybe your beautiful Lady will have more to show .

Yeah, he is using some kind of "torch" (I think that's a flashlight, ) that really brings out the green. My Olive looks like that when the light hits her just right, but it's very hard to get across in photos. You'll just have to take my word for it. As it is, she's still very green in this pic, and I'm a sucker for green T's!
