White spots in dirt

Over the last couple weeks hundreds of these white dots showed up all the way around my pampho sp. machallas enclosure. Only around the sides nothing on the surface. Any ideas?

Some type of mold, mildew or fungus.

The surface dries out more easily, while moisture is trapped lower in the substrate, so this stuff grows where there is more moisture.

That’s what I was thinking. I was planning on rehousing into her forever home after next molt anyways. Just wanted to makes sure it was nothing to stress about

They look like tiny puffball mushrooms

Had those in one of my albo enclosures, they didn't die when dried out, I ended up having to change the substrate because they have a strong smell.
