Did a lot of research and after spending a lot of time planning, thinking, and just watching the tarantulas of a fellow keeper, I made the decision to get 3 G. Rosea slings, and 2 H. Maculatas. Crazy right? 4 months in, no problems yet! Although I predict I'll have some... Interesting moments with the maculatas in the future! Some people would probably disagree with my decision, but, I jumped in feet first, and I'm hooked on the cute little buggers!

My first T is going to be a Hapalopus sp pumpkin patch. I choose it because my mother doesn't want a full sized tarantula in the house and it's fast growing. I had considered Euathlus sp. red, but I didn't want to wait for a minuscule sling to grow into a small tarantula.
