I'm a T girl but my son talked me into a scorpion. Was sold to me as "emperor red claw" I know that to be somewhat incorrect. It would be a p.cavimanus if it was a Tanzanian red clawed I believe. It doesn't have red claws at all so I was thinking maybe just a regular p. imperator. But some one said it looks like a h. petersii. I cant seem to find any info on distinguishing the 2. Also it appears male to me. What do you guys think? If picture of certain parts would help I can do that. Thanks ya'll!

petersii must be extremely common in their habitat, people eat them. One time I saw "canned scorpion"(food) for sale. Out of curiosity I ordered one can because I wanted to see what sps. it was, it showed up in the typical small tuna sized can. It was pieces of dehydrated petersii. No, I didn't eat any of it. I would have tried it but it just didn't smell good and I doubted the canning method.
