I also named my rosea Rosey and my Avicularia Pinky. But the G. pulchras name is Kowolski
I have never named mine, but I entered into the hobby with more of an interest in the clinical aspects of envenomation, rather than a pet angle. Perhaps I should give it some consideration.
boy & girl emperors (gave petstore dudes a small refresher on sexing emps, they were very receptive and one even knew you had to look at the feathery things underneath, i was mucho impressed ) are named Catherine the Great and Caligula
a scorp sold as "Vietnamese Forest Scorpion", Heterometrus sp. was named Xinh Xinh. i asked a Vietnamese co-worker how to say scorpion. she didn't know, but told me how to say cute instead
probably more, but i can't remember them right now
i never named the small communal group of B. jacksoni's I had...but i don't have any of those anymore.
My H. arizonensis is named Lucifer and my S. mesaensis is named "Satan's Little Helper"....centipede's name is Toby (Ethmostigmus trigonopodus), see? I don't name all my pets after the Dark Lord Don't have names for the T's...official names anyway

havent named the colonies, doesnt seem to be much point. as for the rest, nothing has stuck to them, but when it does, they shall have a name.
P. Imperator- "Death stinger" - aside from the corny name, it's the name of the empire's super sceret cannon scorpion saved zoid in choatic century- yea, i know i'am lame.(M?)
To lazy to type the latin names
South african Flat rock- "Flat rock". I'am so creative, i know.(F)
H. sp "giant forest scorpion" - Mine is actually green, and is a green copy of my P. imperator but a bit skinner. I've had him? for a year or so and i keep changing the name. Currently he's named "Guysack". Another scorpion shaped zoid, and also because it's very funny to say.
never really named mine, just havent gotten attached enough to bother naming them. That and even if i did just for the sake of not having to call them by their whole name when talking to someone, id still have to tell them what they are the first time or more to make them understand...so theres really no point
I do call my P. Trans spitter tho for short. Thats about all.
