I know most people if not breeding prefer females, but what are your favorite male tarantulas? I have a great looking pair of Xenesthis immanis, and the male is a show-stopper, the under- rated Haitian Brown(wish it had a dif. name) Phormictopus cancerides, the male is wicked looking, also I have a number of Monocentropos balfouri slings,(I've only seen pics of adults) the females look great, but I think the males are stunning.

Some Pamphobeteus males get really nice colors too. They're similar to Xenesthis in many ways.

I actually like the male Psalmopoeus irminia. The color isn't bad, but I also like how the hairs all look on them. Quite striking, imo.

+1 for Psalmopoeus males. They legs remind me of pipe cleaners.

Haitan brown males in the photos don't look too different from the females.

I think the most amazing dimorphism I've seen(only in photos) is Sericopelma melanotarsus.

I have had my share of versis an I can say this male was definitely the brightest T I have ever had.

Now I'm shooting for the Cyriopagopus lime green lol
