Hey I’m new to this hope I’m doing it right. So I got a vaejovus confusus and I’m a little worried about it. It’s not a big eater and that might be fine but for some reason I thought it would be more eager to eat? Maybe not. Just looking for some help. So it’s maybe 1.25” and I keep my room around 74 degrees. I have only feed it small crickets like 1/4” maybe i should give it bigger crickets? Should I feed it once a week or sooner or later?

I have V. confusus as well, I just throw in a small cricket and wait. Mine doesn't eat right away either. I keep mine on sand, I keep it in room temperature, I use cork bark as a hide, I don't have a water bowl. I have only kept it for a few months and I am by no means an expert but, it seems to be doing fine. I think feeding once a week is good. It seems your care is pretty good. If you are worried about a sting, don't. It barely hurts, I've had bee stings hurt worse.

I have cork bark and some moss in there. For some reason I just thought it would be more crazy when I put crickets in but I guess not. Thanks for the advice, I appreciate it

How does it look overall? Good weight or on the skinny side? If it still looks healthy it may just be full.

I'd say it's in good shape and probably isn't hungry now. Toss another cricket in in a week or so and see how it feels then.

Alright I’ll try it in a week. I just thought they were good eaters, like crazy attacks and stuff like that. Maybe I was reading about another scorpion. Thanks for your help
