I searched these forums and couldnt find an answer. I also didnt feel like reading much. So i figured I would ask the smart people.
How do I tell if a scorpion is a male or female? If it matters im wondering about an Emp.
My Emp is named Garth, hopefully he is a male : /

if you moved your eyes about an inch down, you would see a thread called "sexing and sand"... wonder what thats about?

I must admit I'm lazy, some scorps you can tell with pectine size, others you can't. And certain species like Hadrurus arizonensis are very difficult to sex. Also, regardless of name, female arachnids tend to be larger and live longer, though I'm not sure specifically with emps.
