my Plesiophrictus sp. "guangxiensis" just emerged from its burrow right after a molt. it is much bigger and has brighter golden color but its just stationary beside the water dish (normal leg positions). is this normal? i'm worried...

i wouldent worry a whole lot. they seem to stay fairly still after a molt. I belive it gives them time to harden up

After a moult T's are often exhausted and dehydrated.

Just try to stress it out as little as possible. Make sure it has a nice full water dish (or that you mist regularly if it's a sling sans water dish). And wait a week before feeding.

Don't worry about it conserving energy for the few days after the moult. I've had some T's active within hours of a moult and others who look near dead for a few days.
