Shy eater, clings to the glass. Is this normal?

Kaos, my G. Rosea (still a sling), always clings to the side of his enclosure, he only goes to the ground when it's time to eat.

I'm sort of training him that when I crinkle the plastic bag the crickets are in it's feeding time, and he's started to run down to the dirt when he hears the sound. But then... he will never eat in front of me. Ever. I watched him for almost an hour, went to get a glass of water, came back and he had eaten the cricket. He does this to me every time. He wants nothing to do with his food until my back is turned. lol.

Anyway, is this normal behavior?

Also, how often do G. Rosea slings molt?

Thanks guys!

To each his own, yes it's normal and they grow proportionally to how much you feed them.

Thanks! Just wanted to make sure I wasn't doing anything wrong with him. ^_^

My LP spends a lot of time on the side of the enclosure too..although just now its burrowed itself quite deep. Luckily at the side so I can still see it :D
