Should i be concerned?

Just got this pink toe from a pet store in midlothian, IL. it has a white patch on its carapace, should i be concerned?

It does look a tad unusual and its quite big

No, not fuzzy, more like a plaque.

Probably a cyst then, you can only hope it repairs itself on the next molt.

I've had ts with odd marks...like this chromatus that has, or had an odd black mark on her carapace.

I have seen those scratch like marks on specimens before. Especially beat up wild caught Ts, they always get repaired after a molt though.

Well this wasn't WC....and if I recall correctly, she had this mark for a few cycles... @Garth Vader has her now.

Yeah, my WC chalcodes female has a bunch on her carapace, she's yet to moult in my care though

Well this wasn't WC....and if I recall correctly, she had this mark for a few cycles... @Garth Vader has her now.

She hasn't molted yet and she also kicked off most of her abdomen hair in transport. So she looks pretty rough right now! I call her Beetlejuice. I'll post some pictures after she molts.

Euphrati, my A. chalcodes, also kicked off most of her setae in transport. She's got some gouges on her carapace, too, that make it seem like she's been in some rough spots. I expect they'll clear up with her next molt.
