Am I the only one who has noticed sexual diamorphism in millipedes? So far, I've seen in in various millipede species, with males and female coming in under different names.

Examples:

Female Red Leg Millipede (Ephibolus pulchripes)

Male Red Leg Millipede (Ephibolus pulchripes)

Female Tanzanian Yellow-leg Millipede, a semi-aboreal species

Male Tanzainian Yellow-leg Millipede, a semi aboreal species

I've also seen it in various other species including some a millipede from Madagascar similar to the yellow-leg above.

What I really wonder about is I've only ever received adult (and mostly gravid) female Giant Emerald Green Pill Millipedes from Madagascar. They always reabsorbed their eggs and I've never been able to get them to lay eggs despite keeping many specimens for well over a year.
