Scolopendra?

I will be getting my first Centipede soon and I would like someone that is experienced with Scolopendra Sp to recommend a good starter Centipede.

I don't know a thing about Centipedes

I'm no expert in this species but there pretty easy to keep, i dont think any one sub family of the species scolopendra is easier to keep then others, plenty of substrate is needed so they can burrow, feed 1/2 times a week, they like 65% humidity, a couple of hides, temp around 25/28oc and you should do fine.

I'd reccomend S.polymorpha for your first.They are a smaller pede,amd aren't as psycho as most scolopendrids.They're still crazy,just not like subspinipes or alterans.

the S.polymorpha is a great first pede it was my first his name was jahqwees there very fun to whatch and dont burrow as mutch as others or at least mine dident :worship:
