Re-housing the King Baboon

Its always fun moving this gal around. I got her a new cage so i can give her some deeper substrates, check it out.

Are all tarantulas of that species so angry like that? I don't know much about them.

yea pretty much all "baboon" type tarantulas are psychos, the king baboon in particular are one of the worst tarantulas to hold. Just the breeze from my breath is enough to throw her into a threat posture.

Before I hit the bottom I was thinking "Man.. that is one docile babboon" lol
