when scorpions molt, will they do it anywhere? or will they move to somewhere... 'spacious'?:?

IME they molt where the most moisture accumulates. I've had few molt only in their hide but, most of mine molt by the waterdish. Any arachnid will molt where they feel the most secure not really the most spacious.

My observation with my barkscorps (C. vittatus, I. maculatus, C. gracilis, and C. exilicauda), they need a climb. They cling vertically face toward the ground. They will prefer a bark, where they can hide in between crevices during the molt.

ok, well i have a desert species. so i guess the waterdish will be the place. cheers.
I mostly keep desert species and the ones I kept molted with little humidity. I never bother spraying one side of their enclosure. I just keep them warm at all time and they molt without problem.
