Pterinochilus murinus Growth rate

I am thinking of getting some Pterinochilus murinus slings form swift's. Can someone tell me how fast they grow?

These are one of the fastest-growing species I have observed.

We got our P. murinus in late November and it has molted 4 times. It was about 1" when we got it, but i can't tell you how big it is now due to its' burrowing It seemed that it doubled in size with each molt, but i know that is an exaggeration.

Mines molted once a month for the 3 months I've had it. It's not being powerfed at all.

Never having had another sling before, I have no comparison. I got mine in October 2008 I think and they were the size of pencil erasers. Now they are over an inch. Like curiousme stated, most of the molting was done underground.

I'm so pleased to read this thread I was just wondering the same thing as I'm getting two 3 inchers this week. Awesome that they grow fast
