I only have 2 scorpions at the moment, so I am still very new to this....................

I was looking at all of my critters, checking water bowls and such
and noticed something odd......My emperor looks like it has white
stuff on its face. Is this mold or some other problem?
He has been eating and otherwise seems ok.
Ideas?
He was a rescue that was living in bad conditions one of which
was a bone dry tank!

As long as everything in the tank is clean and you have removed all dead food it is unlikely to be mould.
It is more than likely, to put it bluntly to be scorpion poo! Its a thick whitish chalky like substance. Usually they are quite clean but they do occasionaly get it on themselves. If you are very carefull, you can hold the telson and gently swab it off using a cotton bud. If this approach scares you, use a jet of water from a hand sprayer to wash it off.
