Perserving molts.

How does one perserve molts? I have one each from my two Ts, one B.vagans, the other B.Smithi/B.Hamorii.
I was honestly wanting to put them in a photo album but dont wanna flatten or crush the molts.
Any ideas??

You paint a cotton ball with similar color to the tarantula. Fill the abdomen with said cotton ball. Pull everything up and very carefully glue together. Put them in a shadow box to avoid crushing. I pin them into the shadow box, but some glue the feet right to the backing. It takes a few tries, but you can make the tarantula look alive with practice.

@Rittdk01 Would this work for small sling molts? like one about .25-.5 inch? Or is there a different method of preservation?

Yeah I couldn't preserve anything smaller than 1.5 inch with this method. They kinda look the same up to that point, so I don't really bother.

At that size I just use clear packing tape to tape them flat in my spider log.
