P. Imperator Dead Under Suspicious Circumstances

Hello All,
One of my P. Imperator's died quite suddenly. One day he was running around his tank and trying to climb the glass, and the next day he was dead as a doornail. He was full grown. It was all very sudden. I had a plant I bought from a grocery store in there, and I'm wondering if maybe there were pesticides on the plant that he ingested. Anyone have any ideas or info?

how would a scorpion ingest pesticides from a plant?

Did you buy him full grown? If so, it may have been old age...other factors could be overheating, underheating, too low of humidity or mold from too much humidity...what are your temps and humidities at?

The temperature in the tank is about 80 fahrenheit, and humidity is around 80% also. I haven't seen any mold growth. I try to keep the tank well ventilated. I use a Tropic Aire Humidifier & Air Exchanger from Imagine (http://www.reptilesupply.com/product.php?products_id=341) for humidity.

All I can think of is a parasite/disease (something I know nothing about) or old age...
