Obscure mystery tarantula.

So about 3 years ago, someone I know asked me for help locating a tarantula online that he wanted to buy. I forget the common name he gave, but when I found it online, there was only one WC specimen for sale. But the shocker was, it's Genus was that of usually very agressive ones, but it was supposedly the most docile of all tarantulas. Any clues? I have no idea where to start my search. :? :wall:

I would start with a search of the most aggressive T's... not specific ones, just the meanest Genus' and see where that takes you! if you can remember kind of what it looked like (if there was a pic) that would be helpfull too!

I have no idea what it looks like, rofl. The one I found for sale did not have a picture. I guess I should just forget about it, but it's bugging me now.

could it have been Eupaelstrus campestratus or the Pink Zebra Beauty? it was around then that that made it on the scene in any numbers?

Some of the sweetest Ts that come to mind are Avics, Eupalaestrus campestratus, Grammostola aureostriata, Grammostola pulchra, Grammostola rosea, and Aphonopelma anax. I am sure there are some I am forgetting and there are always exceptions to the rules.
