Got these little guys from Darrell today. Best packing job I've ever seen.

Orthochirus scrobiculosus. This thing is really small!!!!! Smaller than 2nd instar C. vittatus.



And a totally new experience! Paraphrynus sp

aww very nice scorps,i really want to get me a couple of those Paraphrynus sp things they look so cool.

You will be very satisfied with Orthochirus, despite their size. They are very entertaining scorpions. :)

That whipscorpion looks like a fierce beast! :eek:

Orthochirus are cool scorpions they are in my wishlist. Congrats 4 the new scorpions.

i really want a whipscorpion. they're way sweet! i'm afraid my room gets too hot in the summer for them tho so i've never gotten one and i doubt i will:(

The Paraphrynus, is that its true color? On my screen the legs look red, and the body almost purple. It's stunning! :eek: :drool: :cool:

What type of environment was it in? Should I keep it moist? Temps, cool?

I found them at night in 85-90 degree temps. they live in mouse holes and cracks in the dirt, they can handle high temps but would benefit from a small water dish filled once and a while, though not as damp as tropical spp of Whip scorps. and Of course a vertical hide. good luck
