a first grader found this guy, and brought him to Shelby's teacher that she had in first grade. Of course the teacher gave it to me and asked me to ID him, since she thinks I know everything about spiders LOL...
I told her I'd ask in here. I released him in the back yard after I took the pics...


EDIT: hahahaha! wow...need a microscope for that one :)

I'm pretty sure this is Tegenaria domestica , also known as the common house spider. Since many spiders have great sexual dimorphism between males and females this being a male might've totally thrown off my guess, but I'll stick with it
