molting situation

Okay heres whats up, i have a avic minatrix sling that made a tube web in a cube container, it is in there molting and the opening where it comes out for food, water etc. is very small just enough so it can fit through, i cant see in its web very well, how do i know when its done molting and how do i get its old exo out due to the small opening

I dont know how small the lid is, but u can try it with a tweezer but be carefull not to hurt the little guy :)

I'd rather not try if recently molted(wait at least 7 days after molting). After the spider has hardened up, use tweezers to pull out the molt. Sometimes messing up the web is the only way. My avic molted 3 weeks ago and I have not taken it out its molt because I'd rather not mess up such nice webbing.

I have four A minatrix, they will all seal themselves in when a molt is approaching and will open up their tubes when they are done. Leave the T alone, they will tell you when they want food, they'll open up the doors for you.
