Male or Female?

Hi all,

I buy a Grammostola Pulchra (Brazilian Black) and i need know if is a male or female.

It is difficult to see in this photo, as there is some over exposed areas of the photo in the area of interest. However, I would say based on this photo, that you have a male. the next molt will certainly give you a better answer.

hard to tell, but I'd also lean toward 'male'.
If you can get a macro shot of the area between the anterior book lungs, it would be helpful.

I have a g. pulchra sub-adult and have only owned this species so I have looked at a few furrows at different stages. This looks male to me, but I agree you need a molt to confirm.

pretty sure its a male :) but like everyone said, a molt will confirm it for sure, as i could be wrong.

it is probably a male but try to take closer shot.
