little theraphosid from Peru

One of my oddball species I have at home, little Theraphosidae originating from Peru. She is in need of a molt, so some better pictures might be coming eventually. I find the patterns to be quite nice on this animal. She is veru docile and not nervous at all, which is uncommon for such a little species.

i found him at approximately 3,200 meters in the region of ancash, peru. when i first found him i thought he was an euathlus but later was bummed he is a dwarft tarantula.

Martin, next time you and Amanda go on a trip, you need to let me know so I can hide in yalls luggage.

That thing is adorable! Do you have any clue as to what it is? The abdomen patters are bad ass!

Why would you be bummed??? Finding that spider is much cooler than finding a Euathulus.

Well, this one we did not collect ourselves, although we did travel to get it! LOL We bought it in Kornwestheim last year, but you have been there as well!

I do not think at this time anyone knows what this species is or even what genus it belongs to, but I could be wrong.

Looks like a cyclosternum sp from peru. also where did you get yours was it from the rainforest or from the andes because mine is from the andes. Because they are a dwarft species i think mine is full grown
