Walked through my garage the other day and found these guys just hanging out on the ground. Wonder how many I could have found if I went through all the boxes and cardboard!?...

been seeing quite a few recluse as well. they are fairly active come late summer. a baker's dozen of recluse

here's a question for ya jordan. i live in latro country, and have never really lived in recluse country, only visited there a few times so my exposure is quite limited.

what's the size variation like? i know in AR, i've found mature recluses that range anywhere from nickel size up to 1/2 dollar size or so. i know with latros, they can mature at different instars, and there is obviously some genetic variation where some spiders are simply bigger than others. seems like there is even more variation when it comes to size in loxos.

shed some light, will ya please?? probably just variation, but hoping for something more interesting / enlightening

My wife would freak if those were in our garage. She digs tarantulas but is not a fan of true spiders!!
