Hi. This is my first T Stirmi. Could anyone please tell me if the dark coloration on the abdomen is any signs of a pre molt? What could it be? I have had him/her one week and I don't have any other information regarding the previous molt. Also, any advice during this phase with his species in paticular. Thanks

The dark round circle at the distal (far end) or closest to her spinnerets is the normal coloration of Theraphosa species in general. Her entire abdomen will darken when in the later stages of premolt. She looks healthy :)

I don't believe that's a mirror patch at all - I'd put money that it's not, actually. This species kicks hair like it's going out of style. It's just a bald patch. After a fresh molt, this species never has an untouched abdomen very long. Even if you don't stress it, this species will often just brush off hair around the hide to ward off intruders (i.e. you). Completely normal.
