I don't notice any enlarged palps on it. It could just be juvenile widow colors.

Also looks a bit large for male. I could always be wrong, but it seems that way to me.

I don't notice palps either..and colors are a little to bright for a geometricus.

Nah, I'm pretty sure MM widows have like, no back at all (skinny butt). Don't immature widows have patterns like this? Perhaps it's an immature L. variolus or L. hesperus? (or mactans?) I get them mixed up... not really a widow guy here.

immature Lactrodectus female. When it molts again species should be more obvious.

I'm sure Widowman will eventualy clear it up once and for all...but I have a very similar Juvenile Latrodectus female...I've also kept Steatoda and that's not any Steatoda I've seen...

"sub-adult" (1 or 2 molts to go) L. hesperus female.

Its funny, i had him in the same cage as my female widow, and they bred. I notice the picture shows little or no palps, but I saw some, and he bred! The female made a nice egg sac too :)
