I introduced the male to a second female today and they seem to have successfully mated. At first I was about to separate them because I thought that the female was being a bit too aggressive but before long he was tying her up and making his moves.

The actual copulation took place over about 40 mins...he alternated palps and at times seemed "stuck" to the female and was trying to pull away.
