Hello! I recently acquired a 20 gallon high tank in which I have about 5”-6” depth of substrate for ivory millipedes. I am trying to turn this into a bioactive tank as well, I have live plants and I recently introduced springtails.
I am thinking about adding other species to cohabitate such as flame leg millipedes, bumblebee and scarlet millipedes. How many can I put in there without overcrowding? I currently have about 9 ivories, both male and female, so those will probably breed as well.

What is the base size? 12x12 or 18x18 inch? I would probably only add 6 at most. I would have another tub ready because if they breed, you can separate or sell them. I personally would add a large live oak branch and add tilandsia air plants, Spanish moss, and some frog moss and make a southern Florida native millipede tank. Bumblebees are cool too.
