so i got one of these house spiders (well my sister found it and decided she wanted to keep it cos i had just obught my first Tarantulas and she was jealous) http://www.uksafari.com/housespiders.htm

it laid an egg sack about a week and a half after we got it and then it laid another about a week and a bit later. so we have two, both were laid one on top of each other so the first question is, will when the first sack hatches will they eat the second lot of eggs?

they have been kept in with the spider for two weeks and then removed and put into another container with no escape holes... it is sat on a moist paper towel, how long till it hatches?

will the second egg sack be fertile?

whats your view on releasing the babies as we dont want to keep them but they have been fed captive bred crickets like any other T would.

1. No idea.

2. No idea. :)

3. If the first one is fertile, the second one is too.

4. I had two sacs before too, and I just took them outside, as I had no desire at all to raise any tegenaria slings...
