Found in south-eastern Spain, Grenada province, any replies appreciated (bad pics I know)- to my shameful ignorance I'm not 100% sure whether it's a true spider or tarantula, so hopefully someone might be able to help me out (not great shots I know):

thanks in advance

none of the pictures are particularly helpful. It'd be much easier of you had a shot of the entire spiders body and not just some side shots of its legs. and ya, thats not a dead mate, it's a shed exoskeleton.

True spider for sure. Why don't you PM Ace or Cheshire--they won't be able to sleep until they nerd out and find the answer.

Looks kind of like a Dolodomes to me. Really can't tell from the angle though.

Go bump up your true spiders post, those guys really know their stuff over there.

yeah, but it still doesn't help that you can't see much else but the legs...

no top shot, no bottom shot, and besides, i think it's a molt.
