Pretty sure of what it is, though I'm not posting my thoguths incase it influences your thoughts

Taking pictures through plastic was too much of a challange, so I reverted to the good ol' finger-thumb method. I hope my 'method' doesn't make me appear irresponsible or ignorant, or as if I'm showing off and saying "look I pick up my spider in this fashion!". It's hard to keep a steady hand with a camera, focus it, and hold a squirming spider too... haha!

I'm uploading three pictures

Legend guys, cheers!

I thought male also. It's nice to have my thoughts confirmed!

EDIT: Anyone know at roughly what size the males mature?

Thanks once again

I had a male mature at roughly 6". I'm sure it varies a bit.

yep, male...
you can really see the patch of hairs (no, I cannot spell it, and I can't find it in Schultz's book)...

Male, male, and some more male. That's a great pic for showing off epiandrous fusilae.

thank you! I found the word 'epiandrous' but there was no 'fusilae' that I could find anywhere....
It's not even in the index either....

That's because Schultz does not cover this sort of sexing. He should since all the other methods focus on female parts and by knowing both you can usually find something that lets you know what's what.

The male "undercarriage"
Meat & 2 veg
etc

Don't coloratovillosum also change colour a fair bit at maturity?
(I'm sure the striping fades dramatically at the very least)

Thanks for posting that one Deifiler. As said before, that is the best picture of the epiandrous fusilae I've ever seen. Even better than the pictures I've seen explaining that method for sexing T's.

They don't change that much. Here is a bad pic (hopefully you get the idea) of last year's mature male:

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the epiandrous fusilae are actually special spinnerets used for creating the sperm web. At least that is what Rick West makes it sound like. So technically, it isn't his junk...right?
