Arachnoboards has moved away from draconian measures in policing forums and has become more tolerant. It used to be ANY cuss word, even simply perceived as a cuss word, would result in penalties.

At times, a certain socially unacceptable word is now allowed as it conveys a message or sentiment that otherwise wouldn't come across.

In return for the lenience AB has now granted, I am asking everyone to review the word gratuitous and do some self policing.

Let's not ask our mods to become babysitters.

Our rules have not changed. If you are posting language that violates our rules, please stop now otherwise you are prone to start receiving warning points. If you see language that violates our rules, please hit the report button. Language violations are the hardest to moderate as they require someone to report it or for the moderators to read every thread. From the looks of things, most users don't read the Terms and Rules page since it more often than not comes at a surprise when one's thread is deleted or edited.
