she was sold to me as being a G.aureostriata
but i'm having doubts,
the colors arent quite right (when compared with other pic's on the boards and net) , maybe she's close to moulting but she eats like a pig, and also she is rather skittish and defensive
i understood G. aureostriata was more docile

your opinions please ???

she looks more like this
instead of this

No Chaco-signature pinkish hairs and golden stripes... most probably an A. seemani if it has a lighter underside?

My Chaco's can be skittish and occasionally kick hairs. But never defensive.

i know it's near impossible to accuratly ID a spider from a picture,
anyone has an adress to send the exuvium to for proper identification when she moults ???

An A. seemani will have the orange/tan spinneretes. Can't quite see them in the photo, but you could look and see to settle that question.

I have to agree, it looks just like my E. campestratus-essesees :D (got more than one) Mine are also very skittish but not defensive though they are still young.

Very pretty T anyway.

the spinarets are dark , almost black and have a ringmarking where they are segmented a bit like the markings on the legs but less obvious.
her underside is very light colored , i found a picture of a male Eupalaestrus campestratus but it had a much darker underside , could be the celebrated difference between boys and girls :D

i know it's definitly not A G. aureostriata
for now i think i'm gonna go with Eupalaestrus campestratus

will try to get a difinitive answer when she moults

thanks for the help y'all :D
