All I have right now is 2-3 scorps-an Emp, a flat rock (paucidens), and I have an H. arizonensis adult on the way. All of these scorps live in singles. I'm too reluctant to put another scorp in my Emp cage, because he prefers solitude. I'd like to make a communal scorp enclosure for a change. Tell me, how many B. jacksoni or C. vittatus can I house in 2.5-gal enclosure? What other scorps are there available that thrive well in communal set ups?

2.5 will hold up to 5 b. jacksonis comfortably if you stack a few big pieces of bark in there. Haven't kept a large communal enclosure of vittatus so can't say on them.

This is the shoebox i keep my 5 in, its the same size as a 2.5g.

I've kept 16 C. vittatus in a 2.5l
C. vittatus do very well communally and huddle up together under rocks and bark as long as they've got enough food. this reminds me, it's about that time where everyone needs to get fed.
