For You Gecko Lovers

This is the Mediterranean House Gecko (Hemidactylus turcicus). It is an invasive species in Southern California and has populations in certain areas, but not here. Found this one on a dirt road. The pros said it was an interesting find due to the fact that these guys hang out on the sides of buildings eating insects. I found this one far away from any structures. Anyways, enjoy.

aw, that's cute! Does the tail look weird like that because its been regrown, or do their tails normally look like that?

The tail has been regenerated.
