Does anyone else get really pumped up when their rosea decides to eat? I have about 35 t's, but I literally want to start cheering when I see my rosie take down a cricket! :):biggrin::biggrin::biggrin:

YUP. Once I left a superworm in with my juvie RCF and in the morning I found her eating it in the hole that she had dug to catch it!

I haven't had rosies for very long but it was such a relief to see that mine have decided to end their (brief) hunger strike. I have a feeling this won't be the last time though.

All my rosea/porteri girls (and even my MM) are really good eaters unless they're in pre-molt I'm happy to say. I did just have this with my new Aphonopelma however, so I getcha. :3

My rosie is just 1 1/4" and eats anything I give it.
It's the E.truculentus I care of that I'm worried about. It fears crikets...

Out of 6 adult female rosies, only 1 is a bad eater. I'm a proud mommy. Lol.

I get stressed when my two go into their winter fast mode, but I also realize it's just part of their makeup. But yes, when they do decide to eat finally, it makes me very happy. :)
