I found some daddy long legs a few days ago, and they were pretty weird. Like, they were BIG, with bodies 2-3 times bigger than any daddy long legs I've ever seen. Furthermore, they didn't have long legs at all. Their legs were very short. And instead of crawling over foliage, these creatures were huddled togeth under a log. But they were DEFINITELY daddy long legs.
Does anyone know anything about these creatures? I've spent more than 20 years turning over logs in FL, and I've never encountered such a creature. I'd be interested in knowing what species it might be.
