First molt I've witnessed!!!

After having my G. rosae for around 6 months, it has finally molted. I've never witness such a cool and freaky act of nature. I was getting worried since it hasn't eaten in around 3 weeks. So what should I do now? Just leave it alone and not feed it? :?

Congrats on the molt! I usually wait 5 to 7 days to introduce a cricket to my T's after they molt. If your T does not take the cricket within a couple of hours then remove and wait a few more days. :clap:

Also see to it that it has access to fresh water (via dish).

Yes observing the molting process for the first (and even later) time is fascinating. To me it looks like the T is giving birth to itself! Congrats!

im waiting for my smithi to molt. it seems to be any day now i would think. his bald spot got darker and his whole abdomen is getting pretty dark as well. he was movin around some peat moss too so i figure maybe hes tryin to make the place comfortable enough to molt in. dont younger t's usually molt every month or something or other?
