Well, I just made my first attempt at feeding my emps. I didnt have much food in stock, but I just ordered from Reptilefood.com, some pinheads whcih should be a nice fit for them. But I just tried feeding a delegged approx 5/8 inch cricket to them. One attcked it with its pincers and smashed it a little, then tried to sting it twice. I was hoping that one would take a bite, then another would come up for a small meal. I guess when my pinheads come they will be less imtimidated, but what is the largest prey item you have fed to your baby emps?

Baby emps will readily scavenge. I just throw in dead adult crickets when pin heads aren`t in stock and they will even share them(communaly). Also if you have more than one together , keep them well fed or the first one that moults when there hungry is gonna get it!;P
