feed them waxworms?

Would my savannah monitor eat waxworms? and if soo, how nutritous would it be for him?

As nutritious as a twinkie. General consensus is they are too fatty to be a staple in any diet but are good for occasional treats or to bulk up a gravid female, thin animal et c.

alright soo just every once in a while then, same thing with feeding them to t's I know this isnt the category to ask that question but oh well

wax worm diet consists of honey. cant be too healthy for a lizard

not to mention it would take a hell of a lot of wax worms to fill up even a small savannah monitor.
