I have a sling (a very, very little sling) for over a month now and it hasn't molt since and have not eaten for over 3 weeks now (the last time it feeds was the week I got it)... Anybody experience the same with this species? From what I have read, this particular species are extremely slow-grower, to the extreme... But I never thought that fasting, at such a size, is its thing.

Thanks in advance, for any insights!

Assuming red, yellow, orange, flame, etc. are all the same, my "yellow" took a year and a half to get to 1 1/2". Buried herself for months at a time without eating, then would stay out in the open for months. She's been in premolt for a few months now, last molt was about 10 months ago. Two years and still well under 2", so, yes, very slow growing...

A year has passed and that little Euathlus still looks like a sling... I guess slow-grower is an understatement with this kind of species.

very slow grower. Known to go on long fasts. They don't like larger food prey items. Seem to prefer pre killed.
