Hello,
I currently have my B. Smithi in an enclosure that’s too big.(45x45x45 cm). So I came up with the best solution, buying another T. I would buy a gbb for this enclosure and put in more dirt. Like that the measurements would be 45x45x30. Is this big enough for an adult gbb? I would transfer my B.Smithi to a 30x30x30cm, is this big enough for an adult?

Many thanks

30x30x30cm is ok for adult terrestrial T's, if you provide enough substrate. i also use 30x30x20cm enclosures.
i would say that 45x45x45 can be used for an adult B. smithi as well, maybe add plants to the enclosure and watch out for enough substrate to prevent significant fall damage. i personally plan to use a 45x45x30cm enclosure for my L. parahybana once she has outgrown her 30x30x20cm enclosure.

adding a lot of substrate in that enclosure for a GBB is a waste, as they dont really burrow.

My brachypelma has a leg span of 15cm. The Gbb I will buy, has a leg span of 6 cm. So do I keep my brachypelma in it’s current enclosure and put the gbb in the 30x30x30? Also if the 30x30x30 is too big for a 6 cm gbb, I have a 20x20x30 enclosure in which I keep my grasshoppers. I’ll add a picture.
