To me it looks like a female. Coz it's has blue tone. Unlike the male counterpart which look kinda brownish.

All H. Lividum's have blue tone. Males only change at their final molt. At least thats what ive read.

Mine is about 4 inch. If its a male I should see the tibal spurs and "boxing glove" characteristic of a male right?

I would be inclined to agree. If its a male, it might not be mature yet. but 4" or so is pushing it for a male *i think*.

Both sexes of t's will drum the sides of their containers.Especially if there is a member of the opposite sex in their vacinity.It's awesome to hear a 10 inch T.Blondi female drumming away.The first time she did it she woke me up.it's pretty damn loud.later Brian
