I have never had this happen, so I thought I would post and share :D Over the past few days, my Okefinokee fishing spider has been acting strange. Very close to the ground, cleaning her fangs a lot, etc. Now, I find her with a sac, sitting on the bottom of her enclosure. She had eaten two crix just the day before, and thought it was so cool! However, pretty sure there is no chance she is pregnant. I got her a few months back in March, and she has since molted 2-3 times. I have never introduced a male either, so I'm guessing she is just making a false sac. Would love if anybody could tell me why now of all times? Is it normal for them, or am I doing something wrong? Also, do I wait for her to abandon it? I have never had this, and really want to learn. It is my first "exotic" true spider I bought, and she is one of my favorite arachnids ;)

Thanks for reading, Abyss

Congrats! If it is wild caught there is a good chance it could be good.
