why not look at the stridulating organ and be sure it is Haplopelma or not?
what do you think? http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c49/Brian__Kim/MTthorns.jpg

sorry i dont have 40x. only have 10x 60x and 200x

but it has other characters that don't really fit to the last Volker's paper. I dont want to say much maybe it's being studied. I know my dead female is with Boris and Volker the last time i heard, so hope they are having fun with it.

also it's supposedly NOT collected from Cambodia.

MaDhack, i see orange fringe on the legs of your H. minax,,, might not be minax

It's still a little guy:)
I would say it's one or two molts away from showing colors.

The thorns doesn't clear up much - on the contrary - as the arrangement is Haplopelm'ish (numerous and there appears to be no large apical thorn in between the rows) and the thorns themselves Ornithocton'ish (long and slender). Also the wide clypeus is lacking which is found in Ornithoctonus, but not absent = again something in between Haplopelma and Ornithoctonus. I would love to see a male of this species ...

Søren

It's about 2" right now.
There is also a good possibility it's a male.
I should be able to sex it with it's next molt:D

Is it just bottled water, or mineral water? ...two different things.

It's just good old regular bottled water. She doesn't live in a mansion either, its just a big glass tank. And she definitely doesn't have a driving licence. ;)
